Types of volunteer work in the Bailiwick of Guernsey
We hold events throughout the year such as during MS Awareness Week when we have flag day. At other times of the year, we have Coffee Afternoons, Drop In / Social events and The Rowathon, (though don’t worry you wouldn’t have to row, it would be just to help collect money and cheer on the rowers!). There are loads of things a volunteer could help with, from helping out on Flag days, collecting raffle prizes for events, and helping to run stalls at fetes... and if you find you enjoy it and have more time to give, then in turn we can offer more services to our members.
New volunteers are always welcome; no particular previous experience is required, but enthusiasm and new ideas are very much appreciated. If you'd be interested in joining our volunteer team then we would be delighted to hear from you. Please email info@mssociety.org.gg.
